Hello! My name is José Fernández Gallego, I come from Extremadura and I am currently living in Frankfurt am Main.
I consider myself an extremely curious and self-taught person. My passion is to create and that led me to fulfill a dream: Designing cars. And after many years of experience in the sector, I decided to become an entrepreneur.
I decided to create @galfer_eyewear, a laboratory of ideas inspired by my Extremaduran cultural roots, my passion for design, to give life to unique products that excite people to bring out their extraordinary side.

We represent our forgotten and unknown Spanish region, Extremadura.
We feel it is necessary to be part of the solution and we want to give voice to our land from the design, calling our models with words of the almost extinct dialect “Castúo” and each collection is inspired by our cultural roots.

We believe all humans are extraordinary when they are being themselves.
Design is one of our pillars, but our creative proposals do not end there. We offer a comprehensive design and production service to integrate your own line of sunglasses and accessories into your fashion collections.

We support annual campaigns for children in camps, international anti-bullying days, and provide financial aid whenever possible. A.E.P.A.E. has an amazing team of experts helping children every day.
Our founder, Jose Fernandez Gallego, a proud ambassador and bullying survivor, stands firmly with this cause.

Jacinta is the name of our pet. It is a sheep.
It represents the black sheep of the heard, It represents uniqueness, self love and courage to be extraordinary.
Jacinta does not take any Bullying from anyone!
The Lusitania collection case is made of traceable merino wool, a unique breed of sheep from Extremadura.
Jacinta has no gender, is the ALTER EGO of the founder and the one who shapes our logo.
